Bloggers and web-designers need to play with HTML color codes all the time. Pixie by Nattyware is one great portable application for this purpose which occupies 11 KB of hard disk space, 160*80 pixels of screen space and needs no installation. With pixie you can pick up color codes in HEX, HTML, RGB, CMYK & HSV just by using the hot keys. Pixie also provides you with a magnifier. So, you may zoom any part of the screen and pick colors from there. The magnifier is extremely handy while picking up the font colors. When I am up to designing, pixie is a must need.
