We have previously covered anti-theft applications, but this one has loads of unique features to offer. It basically is a remote and an anti-theft device all in one. Unfortunately, these applications have become a necessity because, well, good phones do attract a lot of thieves. Anyway, read more about the application after the break.

TheftSpy

TheftSpy is a fully working anti-theft application is available for free at the Google Play Store. The application is compatible with any android device running OS 2.2 and up. You should be able to read the messages you receive on Whatsapp, read the SMS that you receive, track your phone via GPS, take a screenshot of the screen and convert text to speech in the unfortunate event that you lose your phone or otherwise stolen. All of this is possible without you having to root your phone and for free. While the application might be fully functional, you still might run into a few bugs because the application is still in the ALPHA phases of development. If you do run into bugs and some issues, you can always talk about them with the developer at the original thread over at the XDA developers. The developer will look into any troubles that you might come across and fix them at the earliest.

The first thing you need to do after you install the application is set up the SMS Token which should be theftspy as default. You can do that if you open the application and head over to settings. The entire process is quite easy to understand and you should have absolutely no problem handling it on your own. Next thing you need to do is send the SMS Token to the device. Once you do that, you should be replied with an SMS that basically confirms the token. Once you are authorized, you can feel safe about your cellphone. Well, pretty much.

If you are running and anti-virus software, this application might be identified as unwanted or similar in which case you might want to ignore that. You need to head over to this site in order to register yourself and finally head over here to control your cellphone remotely. If you are looking for tutorials on how to work this application, please head over to this website. This should have all your answers covered. Please do let us and especially the developer know your experience with the application.
